A Malaysian woman has reached a major milestone after taking her oath as a lawyer at the High Court of New Zealand, following years of balancing her education with responsibilities at home.
According to the post, she comes from a modest family background. Her father works as a postman, while her mother takes on part-time sewing work, and she is the second of seven siblings.
Growing up in New Zealand, she reportedly helped her family sell kuih on weekends while also taking on part-time work in motel housekeeping alongside her studies.
She eventually pursued a double degree, with her journey culminating in the moment she took her oath at the High Court of New Zealand.
Her achievement reflects years of dedication to her education, while also recognising the sacrifices and support of the parents who stood behind her journey. š²š¾š
