A teacher at SJM received a memorable send-off from students and the school community before temporarily stepping away from teaching to further his studies.

According to the post, he had served at the school for exactly 8 years, 6 months and 12 days, building years of memories and connections with those around him.

He will now be going on sabbatical under HLP (Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan) to pursue his PhD over the next four years.

The video captures students and members of the school community gathering to bid him farewell and wish him well as he begins this new chapter.

After more than eight years as a teacher at the school, his next journey also gives his students an example of how learning and personal growth can continue throughout life. 🎓👏
