A couple stopped to help a stray dog after noticing it walking past them and searching through the grass for something to eat.

Remembering they had canned wet food at home, the husband quickly went to get it while his wife stayed with the dog. As she spoke to it and asked it to wait, the dog remained nearby and even came closer.

The video shows the hungry dog eagerly eating the food, with the woman sharing that it was already on its second can. She also noted that the dog appeared very thin.

After giving it a proper meal, the couple shared their hope that the dog would remain safe wherever it went next. 🐾❤️
