Finishing was not about being the fastest for one participant who spent around three hours climbing 118 floors, surrounded by people determined to make sure she reached the top. ❤️💪
According to the post, she was the last participant still completing the challenge, but she did not have to face the final stretch alone. For the last 40 floors, fellow participants stayed by her side, slowing down and matching her pace step by step.
IHH medical personnel were also there to ensure she remained safe throughout the climb. As only two floors remained, the atmosphere became even more encouraging as those accompanying her sang together and cheered her on towards the finish.
When asked what kept her going after hours of climbing, her answer was simple, she wanted to finish what she had started.
After finally reaching the top, she was rewarded with the view she had worked so hard to see, while her friend who had participated in the challenge was also waiting for her at the finish.
The moment showed that sport is not always about who finishes first. Sometimes, it is about perseverance, supporting one another and making sure everyone gets the chance to cross their own finish line. 🇲🇾❤️
