The unexpected spectacle caught the attention of passersby, with some initially joking that the tower appeared to be on fire before realising a celebration was underway.

According to Public Bank, the fireworks were part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, which also featured a large-scale light and drone show commemorating six decades of serving Malaysians.

The vibrant display marked the milestone against one of Kuala Lumpur’s recognisable landmarks, giving those nearby a memorable view of the anniversary celebrations. 🎆✨
